THE EFFECT OF METACOGNITIVE STRATEGY ON STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION AT SMK SWASTA YAPIM MEDAN

AbstractThe research objective was to find out the effect significantly from implementation of Metacognitive Strategy on reading comprehension students. The researchers formulated problem “Does strategy affect students’ comprehension?”. In this research, students SMK Swasta Yapim Medan chosen as sample in research.In applied experimental research. This done by applying group (applying Strategy) and controlled (without using quantitative approach. used study 72 35 were group. From data it known that total score after conducting post-test 2,714.
